I am from Šiauliai – and I say that with pride. When I meet another person from Šiauliai, I often feel a sense of connection – one of our own!
I spent my childhood days in the Central Park district. I am grateful that my mother took me to sing with Vadimas Kamrazeris in the group “En-den-du.” As a teenager, I lived in the Kuršėnkelis district, studied at my beloved “Juventa” school, and trained in athletics with coach Virginija Žiedienė. Both the sports and the school communities helped me maintain a healthy relationship with the neighbourhood where I lived. I was a child of the courtyard, but I also had many extracurricular activities.
Our hundred-day celebration performance at school strengthened my feeling that the stage could be my path. I am grateful to actress Lina Bocytė for helping me realize this. I later completed a Bachelor’s degree in Pop Music Performance at Šiauliai University, which continued to shape my professional journey to this day. I often filmed abroad, but the most meaningful roles for me have always been those performed in the Lithuanian language.
I am grateful to Šiauliai for the influence it had in shaping my core values.
