Šiauliai is not only my hometown but also the place where my journey as a musician and as a person began. Here I learned patience, hard work, and discipline, and with the guidance of my wonderful teachers Marytė Markevičienė, Raimonda Sližienė, and Janina Mažonaitė, I built a solid foundation that still guides me today. Nowadays, I perform in Europe and the USA – from the Berlin Philharmonic to concert halls in Los Angeles and San Francisco. In 2011, I was honored with the Šiauliai UNESCO Club award for promoting the city worldwide. Later, continuing my concert activity and working in Paris, I received the Šiauliai City Culture and Art Prize. Whenever I return to Šiauliai, I feel gratitude – here are my roots, here ideas are born that later travel with me around the world. Happy birthday, my City of the Sun!
