Šiauliai is my city. I was born here, grew up here, and it is where I developed as a person. After completing eight grades at Šiauliai Didždvaris Gymnasium, I entered the Šiauliai Conservatory, where my true path began under the guidance of Marytė Markevičienė, an accordion teacher and Honorary Citizen of the City of Šiauliai. It is to her that I am grateful for the wonderful course my life has taken.

Alongside my extensive performing activities, I have been deeply involved in diverse pedagogical work, which strongly reflects the Šiauliai accordion school. It is a school of goodness, love, and dedication to one’s instrument.
