On Thursday, June 11 at 18:00, the opening event of the “Big Band 2026” festival will take place at the Šiauliai City Concert Institution “Saulė”.

Performers: Šiauliai Big Band (LT), Edgaras Davidovičius (LT), Juozas Janužas (LT), Laurynas Viliušis (LT).
Artistic director and conductor: Raitis Ašmanis.

This year’s programme features big bands and joint jazz ensembles from Lithuania, as well as guests from Italy, France, the Netherlands, Latvia, Ukraine, and the USA. The stage will bring together outstanding vocalists, instrumentalists, and unexpected collaborative projects. A summer beginning with music that connects cities, countries, and people.

Admission is free.
