On September 12 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m., the Services Town will be open in the car park next to Šiaulių State College.
The programme will include:
- Šiauliai Police exhibition, a meeting with the police dog Amsis, fingerprinting and other activities;
- interactive educational activities and equipment demonstrations by the Šiauliai Fire and Rescue Board of the Fire and Rescue Department under the Ministry of the Interior;
- preventive measures and the Young Firefighter course, as well as competitions for children;
- demonstrations of equipment and armament used by the Lithuanian Armed Forces and interactive games;
- equipment and gear used by the Šiauliai Border Guard Station of the Pagėgiai Border Guard Unit of the State Border Guard Service under the Ministry of the Interior, as well as a cynologist and service dog performance;
- medical equipment and life-saving demonstrations by the Šiauliai branch of the Emergency Medical Service;
- demonstrations of special equipment used in the penal enforcement system by Šiauliai Prison, together with an introduction to the specifics of their work.
