In celebration of World Art Day, audiences are invited to an exceptional concert featuring one of today’s most prominent violinists – Philippe Quint (USA). Praised for his “poetic lyricism that burns with intensity” (UK Daily Telegraph) and “breadth of tone and passion” (The New York Times), Quint captivates audiences worldwide with his innovative interpretations and remarkable musical charisma.
In this concert, Philippe Quint will perform alongside Camerata Solaris, the Šiauliai City Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Vilhelmas Čepinskis – violinist, conductor, and one of Lithuania’s most outstanding musical figures. Their stage collaboration promises a unique artistic dialogue between international virtuosity and Lithuanian musical energy.
Philippe Quint is a guest of numerous prestigious concerts and festivals and has performed with orchestras such as the London Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. He is also an active ambassador of contemporary music, with works dedicated to him by renowned composers including Errollyn Wallen and Lera Auerbach.
Quint performs on the 1708 “Ruby” Antonio Stradivari violin, lent to him by The Stradivari Society®.
Maestro Vilhelmas Čepinskis and violin virtuoso Philippe Quint share a long-standing friendship that began in the 1980s at New York’s prestigious Juilliard School of Music and continues through joint musical endeavors today.
