On July 25, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the Rėkyva Culture House Park of the Šiauliai Culture Centre will host the 75th Anniversary Celebration of Rėkyva Culture House, “Rėkyva Carp.”

The event will bring together photography, music, community spirit, and culinary heritage, with the Rėkyva carp serving as the central symbol of the celebration—a reflection of the area's history, the lake, and the identity of the local community.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the History and Memories of Rėkyva Culture House through the outdoor photography exhibition “75 Years of Rėkyva Culture House.” The celebration will also feature a children's activity area, community games, and an evening concert programme.

During the event, visitors will be invited to take part in the community initiative “The Great Rėkyva Carp Photo.” A specially designed photo area with a stylized Rėkyva carp installation will be created for the occasion, becoming one of the main highlights of the celebration and a symbolic meeting point.
