The representative Šiauliai city festival “Resurrexit” aligns with the theme “Growth of the Sun. The Protecting Bear”: the spring resurrection becomes a metaphor for the city’s cultural growth.

The festival’s early music and contemporary premieres reflect life and fertility, while the symbol of the “protecting bear” represents Šiauliai’s strength and community spirit. International performers, new partnerships, and stories inspiring civic engagement create a living city identity today.

This year, the festival will take place from April 1 to June 12.

The festival is hosted in various venues: Šiauliai Chamber Hall “Polifonija” (15 Aušros Ave.), Švč. Mergelės Marijos Nekaltojo Prasidėjimo Church (57 Gegužių St.), and Palendrių St. Benedict Monastery (Kelmė District).
