
On April 16, the traditional international scientific conference “Higher Education for the Sustainable Development of a Smart Region” will be held at the higher education institution.
Šiauliai State College will once again bring together scholars from Lithuania and abroad for this well-established international academic event, organized in collaboration with partners: Alaaddin Keykubat University (Turkey), Polytechnic Institute of Braganza (Portugal), King Juan Carlos University (Spain), University of Ostrava (Czech Republic), Polytechnic Institute of Porto (Portugal), Selçuk University (Turkey), Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava (Romania), and the UNESCO Department of Communication Research (Spain).
The conference will cover current topics, inviting researchers to discuss the impact of changes in higher education on the training of highly qualified specialists, evidence-based healthcare practices in the context of holistic health, the role of social dialogue and responsibility in the face of global changes, technological transformations and their effects on the smart society, applied accounting, finance, and auditing in sustainable business conditions, and the use of artificial intelligence in research and studies. Presentations will be delivered in Lithuanian or English.
It is expected that numerous researchers from Lithuania and abroad will present their findings at the conference. The event will take place at Šiauliai State College and online.

Conference participants will be invited to prepare articles based on their presentations.
