On April 12, from 13:00 to 16:00, the Rėkyva House of Culture and park of the Šiauliai Cultural Centre will host a colourful, joyful, and spring-filled celebration for the whole family – Children’s Easter in Rėkyva.

PROGRAMME

13:00 – concert “Dancing Easter”
Featuring the Šiauliai Cultural Centre choreography studio “Impresija” (artistic director Inga Širvienė).
Admission with free invitations, available from April 7 at 9:00 at the box offices of the Šiauliai Cultural Centre and Rėkyva House of Culture, as well as online at www.ticketmarket.lt

13:00–16:00 – games and entertainment with the Easter Granny
Fun activities with the Easter Granny (Vita Taučienė-Rezgienė, artistic director of the Šiauliai Cultural Centre folklore ensemble “Sidabrinė gija”) will take place in the park of the Rėkyva House of Culture. Participants will enjoy traditional and creative games such as “Egg Fishing,” “Hen’s Feet,” “Animal Croquet,” and “Egg Threading,” as well as Easter egg hunts and egg-rolling competitions. Educational activities “Easter Patterns” and “Easter Egg” will also be held and led by folk artist Irena Volodkienė.
